Who We Are

Project Puppy Mills is an inclusive project started to help fight puppy mills in the United States. We are devoted to shutting down puppy mills by educating the public, lobbying for legislation to regulate such breeders, and promoting the benefits of adoption instead of buying from pet shops.

Compassion for all Animals
Project Puppy Mills is the result of us focusing our passion for the welfare of all animals on just one issue. We are transitioning into being more of an educational site about puppy mills with the hopes that people in the United States and in other parts of the world will be inspired to take action to help stop this form of cruelty, whether by lobbying for breeding legislation or adopting instead of buying a dog. In the future, we hope to become advocates for change in other areas where animals need help, such as factory farming, dogfighting, horse slaughter, and animal research. We believe that all cruelty against animals is wrong, so stay tuned—Project Puppy Mills may be the first of several projects for animal welfare!

Power in Youth
As teens ourselves, we highly encourage other youth to get involved with Project Puppy Mills and to speak up about other animal issues. We were both eleven years old when we began lobbying for anti-puppy mill legislation in our state. If you're a kid, please check out the rest of our website to learn about how we have met our goals in the past few years-- we hope you'll be inspired to do something too. We're two kids just like you with a passion for animals. Youth are a powerful force in creating change!
